World No Tobaccco Day 2020: Head and Neck Oncology (Webinar)

World No Tobacco Day

On the 31st of May, every year, the world observes No Tobacco Day. This day health communities and organizations all around the globe unite to spread awareness on the ill-effects, large scale health risks and associated threats with tobacco use. The World Health Organisation assigns various themes for every year’s campaign, and this year’s theme is about protecting the youth from tobacco and nicotine use.

The damage starts with the first puff itself.

Tobacco consumption is harmful in all its forms, be it in the smoking (cigarettes, e-cigarettes, waterpipes, cigars, etc.) or non-smoking forms (sniffing, chewing, dissolving forms, etc.). With 85% of head and neck cancers linked to the use of tobacco, it accounts as the largest cause for cancer diagnosis.

This World No Tobacco Day, Cytecare Hospitals invite you to unite to spread awareness for Oral Cancer. Join the interactive webinar and learn on the topics, from India’s experts in Head and Neck Oncology on the 31st May, 2020. We have Dr. Girish Shetkar discussing “Oral Cancer: Early Detection and Management” and Dr. Vikram Kekatpure presenting the topic “Management and Reconstruction of Advanced Oral Cancer.”
