Bengaluru, September 12, 2017: Cytecare Cancer Hospitals, committed to revolutionizing cancer care in India with the organ-specific approach, has strengthened their team of dedicated doctors by announcing the appointment of Dr. Nagaraj K.R as a Senior Consultant, Radiology.
Dr. Nagarajis the first radiologist to work with a PET CT hybrid imaging scanner and 3TMRI imaging systems in Bengaluru. He has more than fifteen years of experience as a radiologist. His special emphasis lies in head and neck oncology, hepato-biliary and gastrointestinal oncology and musculoskeletal oncology. He has more than nine years of experience in Onco-Radiology imaging, including interpretation of PET CT, MRI, CT, performing image-guided biopsies, FNAC (Fine needle aspiration cytology) and facilitating radiotherapy planning complex anatomical regions.
Dr. Nagarajdid his MBBS from Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute & DMRD, DNB (Radio- Diagnosis) from TNMC Mumbai. He has worked with HCG, NarayanaHealth & The Bangalore Hospitals in the past. Dr. Nagaraj also manages quality assurance programmers and is a Certified NABH assessor for MedicalImaging Services. He has written for several publications and is also a member of IRIA (Indian Radiological and Imaging Association) and the IMA.
