Cytecare Cancer Hospital collaborates with SSM Hospital

An alliance to offer World-class Cancer care to Hassan.

Hassan, March 18, 2018: Cytecare Cancer Hospital, Bengaluru, today announced their partnership with SSM Hospital, Hassan, as part of their Hub-and-Spoke initiative. Through this partnership, Cytecare and SSM will offer specialized oncology services, including consultation, chemotherapy and comprehensive surgery at Hassan. With the district witnessing heavy burden of cancer (such as Cervix, Oral, among others) and a shortage of specialized oncology care and cancer treatment, this association will help ease the burden on the healthcare system.

Cytecare’s team of cancer specialists will ensure people of Hassan receive the right guidance, accurate diagnosis, and the best possible approach to fight cancer, in their very home town. With this outreach initiative, Cytecare will be reaching out to tier II and III cities and plans to offer cancer care with advanced technology in surgical and radiation oncology along with tumor board specialists.

In collaboration with SSM Hospital, Cytecare will also be setting up specialized oncology facilities at SSM Hospital, which will comprise an Onco – Consultation Clinic, Chemotherapy wards, a comprehensive surgical unit, Intra-Operative Image guidance systems for advanced surgeries, Adult Critical Care unit, Rehabilitation support, Radiology & Diagnostics, Cancer Screening & Vaccines clinic and Onco Nursing.

Cytecare’s organ-site approach to treatment will improve outcomes and provide patients with access to the Tumor Board; which follow Gold Standard guidelines for cancer treatment. Their patient-centric approach offers professional counseling services for the patients and the family at both psychological and emotional level.
