Samarpan is a tribute to all the deceased in the past year. We hope their souls rest in peace and have departed peacefully.
We at Cytecare lit a candle in memory of those who had departed and prayed for them and their loved ones.
We take inspiration from Mary Elizabeth Frye’s poem, ‘Do not stand in my grave and weep’, wherein she tells us that there is no point standing at the grave and crying because the deceased is not there in the cemetery; instead, it is a thousand winds that blow or the diamond’s glint on snow.
